The education team
Created behind the chair.
Taught from experience.
Our education team trains stylists across Australia and New Zealand through scheduled intensive classes, online modules and personalised education days.
Meet your educators.
Each of our educators has their own specialisms. Education content created behind the chair and taught from experience. Our education team share what actually works in a real salon: the decisions, techniques and problem-solving that help you deliver beautiful results with confidence for every client that walks through your doors.

Melissa Proietti
Hair Loss Mesh-Integration System
With over 20 years of hairdressing experience and a decade specialising in hair‑extension education, Melissa is one of Australia and New Zealand’s most respected educators in advanced hair‑loss solutions and mesh‑integration training.
Her career spans global experience — including 18 months on luxury cruise liners providing hair services to clients from diverse cultures and 15 years as a salon owner, where she built her business to over $3 million annually. During that time, she trained more than 20 staff to consistently earn $6–9k in four‑day working weeks through strategic mesh‑integration and extension services.
Melissa has trained over 1,000 stylists across Australia and New Zealand, both in‑person and online. She has studied under leading international hair‑loss educators: Jaclyn Moss, Kelly Maxwell, and Signature Scalp, bringing refined, global best‑practice into every class.
As a mum of two balancing education, salon ownership and e‑commerce, Melissa understands what many stylists truly want: to earn more, work less, and have more time for family and life. That insight shapes her entire teaching philosophy.
For Melissa, technique is only the beginning. The real transformation happens when stylists learn to build a high‑income, low‑hours service menu that delivers freedom, confidence and long‑term stability.

Rickie Drummond is a hairdresser and educator with 16 years of industry experience, now proudly settling in with the Baciami family.
His career spans colour, colour correction, extensions, hair systems and everything in between. Over the years, education has become a core part of his work — sharing the techniques, knowledge and real salon experience he’s gained, and helping stylists master correct methods that translate directly into their day‑to‑day business.
2026 confirmed that education is the path he’s meant to pursue, and he’s excited to continue building on his craft while supporting stylists across the industry. He looks forward to meeting new students and peers in the years ahead.
